A Lafia-based youth entrepreneur, Jibrin Bala Ibrahim, has announced his intention to join the race for the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency in 2027.
Jibrin, popularly called JB, said his interest was borne out of his firm belief in youth development, legislative excellence and quality service delivery for the people of the area.
He made the declaration on Saturday in Lafia, calling for stakeholder cooperation to actualize the political aspiration.
Declaring his aspiration, he believes he is capable of turning the constituency around towards prosperity.
Jibrin, who is the founder of Dan-Safeeyah Charity Foundation, added that “I will promote unity, progress and holistic development within Lafia and Obi constituency”.
“Promote agriculture, tourism, and local industries for the sustainable betterment of our community.”
“Ensure effective and quality empowerment initiatives for our youth and women across the constituency.” he stated.
With the rising political temperature across the country preparatory to the 2027 general elections, more influential politicians, respected philanthropists and renowned social advocates have been expressing their interests for various political positions.
