The attitudes demonstrated by politicians in and outside Nigeria is one that is extreme and perpetually vindictive, rivalist and unwearingly unwelcoming to their political opponents and anyone whom they do not share quite a uniform of political ideology together.

It could be okay to see yourself succeed ahead of your opponent but it is defeatist and utterly defective to remain brutal to your political foes for just a reason on being in the same aspiration which glaringly one must come out victorious at the end of the tussle.

It was inspirational. A deeply change-maker situation for Dr. Faisal Shuaib, a former Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency and a frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before, during and after the turbaning of another governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Sen. Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, who was turbaned as Magajin Dangin Lafia by the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad l JSC Rtd recently.

Dr. Faisal Shuaib showed to the world that development is driven through decency, integrity and unwavering commitment to the cause of the people and destiny. Wadada, as politically called, being an aspirant of the governorship, Dr. Faisal Shuaib has demonstrated his quest for the promotion of political decency, ethical conduct, social justice, rejection of political rhetoric and embracing human dignity towards Wadada.

Dr. Faisal Shuaib made it a point of duty to celebrate Wadada for bagging the traditional title. Dr. Faisal Shuaib singled out himself as the one and only Nasarawa politician out of a deluge of over thirty governorship aspirants to celebrate with Wadada even on newspapers not less than six national dailies without any taste of bickerings or pains to show his political rivalry as it has been the case in Nigerian and global politics.

Dr. Faisal Shuaib had to visibly cut off his journey to arrive Lafia on to attend the ceremony with a bandwagon of innumerable mobilization of his loyalists and supporters to grace the ceremony and give a memorable felicitation to Wadada.

Seen at the Emir’s Palace was a display of camaraderie, enthusiasm, pleasure and unwavering love shown to Wadada and other aspirants present by Dr. Faisal Shuaib.

This political decency is rare and reasonable for Nigerians to identify and pick it as a rallying point to conduct themselves with high-impact friendship and mutually appreciative comradeship amongst all.

Dr. Faisal Shuaib, an accomplished public servant, daring pro-democracy advocate and respected medical doctor who served globally dutifully in many areas, remains an audacious figure and development ideologist that is not focused on self-care politics but a political system that accepts ethical conduct, social morality and prioritizes discipline and development of the people at all costs to take precedent.

His approach, which is entirely laudable, represents a significant attempt to re-center political discourse on ethical principles and the well-being of all citizens. He offers a valuable framework for thinking about how to create a more just and humane political environment in Nasarawa State.

Promoting mutual respect, trust, cooperation, safety, security, empathy, and compassion entrusts him with more of the people’s goodwill.

He is honest and good-mannered. He is a promoter of courteous behavior among followers. Believer of inclusivity and diversity. A builder of trust and positive change.

All said and done, Dr. Faisal Shuaib’s mindset of political legitimacy ups Nasarawa to the world as it edges higher, heavier and mightier for sustainability and greatness.
