The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Nasarawa State, Barrister Isaac Danladi, has led stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Karu Local Government Area to mobilise party members and residents for the ongoing APC electronic membership registration exercise.

The stakeholders’ engagement, which coincided with the official flag-off of the e-registration exercise in Karu Ward, was aimed at strengthening the party’s membership base and ensuring massive participation in the digital registration process recently introduced by the APC.

Barrister Danladi described the e-registration initiative as a critical step towards deepening internal democracy, improving data accuracy, and enhancing effective planning ahead of future elections.

He commended the APC leadership at both the national and Nasarawa State levels for muting and implementing the idea of electronic membership registration, describing it as timely and innovative.

According to him, the initiative would reposition the party technologically and administratively, while giving members a stronger sense of belonging within the party structure.

Addressing party leaders, ward executives, youths, and women groups, the Attorney-General urged APC members across Karu Local Government Area to take full advantage of the exercise by updating their membership details and encouraging new members to register.

He also used the opportunity of the flag-off to encourage residents to participate actively in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stressing that voter registration remains vital to strengthening democracy and sustaining good governance.

Barrister Danladi noted that a credible and comprehensive membership register would further consolidate the APC’s dominance in Nasarawa State and strengthen the achievements of the party-led administration.

In their separate remarks, APC leaders in Karu Local Government pledged total support for the e-registration exercise, assuring sustained grassroots mobilisation across all wards to ensure its success.

The APC e-registration exercise is ongoing across Nasarawa State, with party leaders and stakeholders intensifying efforts to ensure widespread participation at the grassroots level.
