Former Nigerian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Henry John Omaku has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu’s approval of the takeover and conversion of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia as Federal University of Teaching Hospital would renew the hope of Nigerians particularly the residents of Nasarawa State for an improved future.

Omaku said the takeover is another big project that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people.

According to him, “The government of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is only a year old, and we need to exercise more patience and allow the government to actualize its vision. He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for the construction of overhead bridge and underpass in Lafia, building of ultramodern state secretariat, dualization of Shendam/Government House road, and construction of intra city roads thereby giving the state capital a facelift.

Omaku also commended Hon. Abubakar Nalaraba, Member of the House of Representatives representing Awe, Doma and Keana Federal Constituency, Hon. Abubakar Nalaraba for the award of the construction of Lafia- Doma-Rafin Gabas, Nasarawa-Orozo, Karshi-FCT Road worth 5.2 Billion Naira in the 2024 Supplementary Budget.
