In a bid to deepen socio-political aspiration and public confidence, a political advocacy group, DFS Door-to-Door, in Nasarawa State has urged residents of the state to rally round the policy thrust of Dr. Faisal Shuaib to ensure policy sustainability and effective governance beyond 2027.

Leader of the group, Comrade Imam-Malik Adams, made the disclosure during a three-day breakfast initiative of the movement in Lafia, the state capital.

The group’s breakfast initiative was to support the underprivileged, build inclusion, ensure community engagement, improve grassroots visibility and mobilization ahead of 2027.

Speaking to the residents of Akurba, Tudun Abu, Wakwa, Tudun Kwashi in Lafia, Adams encouraged them to obtain their permanent voters card (PVC) to enable them exercise their franchise during the forthcoming election season nationwide.

He said Dr. Faisal Shuaib, a foremost international public servant, has dedicated his life in public service to the advancement of the less privileged, calling on them to canvass for massive support to a figure who would stand to change their lives for the better.

He added that “Dr. Shuaib represents hope, compassion, simplicity and integrity”.

According to him, the community should remain firm and visionary to decide for better successor, believing that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s legacy can only be fully owned and sustained by people-oriented and experienced successor.

Adam Ahmed, a supporter of Dr. Faisal Shuaib, urged stakeholders in the state to pay careful attention to the people’s opinions and decisions to collectively build the state devoid of selfish desires.

Hannatu Embugu, Israel Musa and Muhammad Adamu, spokespersons of the various communities, appreciated the group for the daily welfare and awareness created, assuring of their unwavering commitment to the aspiration of Dr. Faisal Shuaib to succeed the incumbent.
