Former National Vice Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), North-Central, Dr. Ahmed Wambai Suleiman, Saturday, praised Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for appointing qualified individuals with integrity and expertise as commissioners.
Governor Sule on Friday swore in 15 commissioners as members of the State Executive Council, urging them to galvanise more commitment in line with his administration’s Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS) Document.
In a statement he personally signed, Dr. Suleiman said Governor Sule had shown sound judgement of effective governance and leadership which he described as paramount for progress.
Dr. Suleiman, a former Executive Chairman of Lafia Local Government, further lauded the Governor for raising the bar in leadership and tackling the myriad of challenges across different sectors, urging the public to extend continued support to the APC-led government.
He added that the appointees were people of proven track record of experiences and capabilities in diverse backgrounds, appealing to the citizenry to work hard in growing the state’s economy as “the governor is bringing investors to the state with business activities springing up every day”.
“These appointments reflect the importance the Governor places on competence, integrity, and dedication to public service. By choosing individuals with proven track records in their respective fields, he is effectively consolidating on his already laid solid foundation for progressive policies and initiatives that will undoubtedly benefit our state”.
“I trust that these qualified aides, commissioners, SSG, SAs, as well as the SSAs will bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for development, furthering the governor’s vision for a prosperous state”.
“Their diverse backgrounds, capabilities, and experiences will be invaluable as we work together toward achieving our collective goals as citizens of the state”.
