A pressure group in Nasarawa State, the Nasarawa APC Compatriots, has urged Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State to tilt towards leaving a result-oriented legacy that would advance his governance sustainability after office, calling on him to anoint Dr. Faisal Shuaib, a world-renowned medical practitioner, as his successor.
In a lengthy open letter to Gov. Sule on Monday signed by Jibrin Adamu Usman and made available to newsmen, appraised the technocratic competencies, leadership visibility and sterling achievements of Dr. Shuaib in various fields such as education, healthcare support, human capital development among others.
The group from Nasarawa LGA of the state believes that anointing Dr. Shuaib as the candidate of the ruling APC would ensure political balancing in the state, noting that the Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency is the only federal constituency out of the five in the state that is yet to produce a governor.
The group hailed Sule’s governance posture, describing it as one that would remain indelible to the future generations.
It added that Dr. Shuaib has already established his support base across the state, maintaining that the electorate should rally round the governor to ensure an all-inclusive development for all devoid of selfish desires.
