Just like Africa’s writer of renown, Chinua Achebe has always posited in his writings talking about good leadership, followership, education, culture and Africanism, it is gratifying to say that the likes of Compt. Joseph Attah Rtd, fnipr, are the people of goodwill, consequence, high moral value and spiritual discipline beyond the bounds of earthly assumptions and evaluations to change the society’s narrative as fictionalised by Achebe.
Attah’s leadership style as the Nasarawa State Chapter Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations may not directly impact on you, but the job of social mobilisation and public goodwill has a way of positive impact on far and near.
His selfless inclination towards providing assistance and promoting the political fortune of the government of the day. He has shown passion in using his voice at every forum to caution, mobilise support and express loyalty to constituted authorities especially the government of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s which he often describes as transformative via investments.
He is not to be compared with others. He is unrivalled. He is capable. He is self-effacing. He is undoubted.
This is one man that is bereft of hypocrisy, political jingoism and charlatanization. His result-oriented footprints are everywhere. People will talk about you when you do. They will talk about you when you don’t. So, the people are like the judiciary, they interprete and defend the servant’s service to them. Let them compare.
Even the most doubtful of all will agree with me that he is positively touching lives, hence writing his name on the sands of time.
He has frequented playing his card well. Being a media and public relations professional, the strides made by an individual can amplify itself with or without the conventional media. We, the people are watching and believe strongly that whatever he does as far as Nasarawa State is concerned will have a good, virile and clearly defined future positive implications.
Posterity will not forget him. Posterity will remember and immortalise Joseph Attah for his good deeds. He has his name imprinted on the future of Nasarawa people and development which will remain indelible and a rich resource for research.
