Suspected kidnappers have abducted Governor Abdullahi Sule’s aide, Muhammad Deedat Osolafia, at his residence in Lafia.
Osolafia, a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Humanitarian Services, was reported to have been whisked away immediately he drove into his house along NTA Road, Tudun Amba, Lafia, on Saturday night.
A close family source who pleaded anonymity told Nasarawa Newsline that the abductors made their way into the house with sophisticated firearms after shooting sporadically to scare the public.
At the time of filing in this report, no contact had been made to the family by the kidnappers as all efforts to reach the captive proved unsuccessful.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Ramhan Nansel, had yet to comment on our correspondent’s text to confirm the incident as at the time of this report.
