Barrister Isaac Danladi, a retired Permanent Secretary with the state civil service, has obtained his nomination form to run for the office of the Executive Chairman of the local council in the forthcoming elections, believing that he is up to the task of taking Karu Local Government to the Promised Land.
Speaking to Nasarawa Newsline, Danladi, said he would deploy his ingenuity in investment, youth and entrepreneurship development to create wealth, empower youths and women and project the rich human and natural resources of the local council to the world.
Danladi said he has a rich development blueprint which he maintained is private-sector driven, noting that conducive atmosphere would be provided for successful wealth creation.
He added that he has come with fresh ideas to politics which would serve the interest of the electorate, tasking the masses to rise to the responsibility of addressing issues of poverty and wealth creation by voting for him in the forthcoming chairmanship election.
He emphasised that his manifesto is people-oriented in complementing the efforts of Governor Abdullahi Sule to quicken the process of developing the huge potential abound in the local government.
He noted that Governor Sule, as a man of integrity and conviction, would ensure that the elections are held as required by the law, commending him for working closely with outgone local government administrators and making them financially autonomous since he assumed office.
