National President of the Lafia Old Students Association (LOSA) Dr. Faisal Shuaib has been reelected as National President of the alumni association.

During an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday in Lafia, the congregation believed that the LOSA leadership under his stewardship has outperformed in projecting the association to the world.

After conclusion of the Dr. Shuaib-led LOSA Executive Council, a member, Muhammad Isa moved a motion for the passing of a vote of confidence on the dissoved leadership to continue which was seconded by Priscilla Michael with no objections when put to voice vote.

Chairman of the electoral committee, Timothy Anjide, a former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, tasked the newly reelected leadership to sustain its landmark strides as observed by the alumni.

Responding, the National President, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, visibly touched by the show of solidarity, promised to provide more development projects to the alma mater and the state in general especially in the areas of healthcare services, education and human capital development.

Dr. Shuaib appreciated LOSAns for their confidence in his leadership, vowing to generously exceed expectations.

He added that the unwavering commitment of the LOSA leadership would not derail from its founding objectives.

Dr. Shuaib’s second term as LOSA President, according to the LOSA Constitution as Amended 2025, has a term of three years.
