Nasarawa NUJ rejoices with NUJ new leadership

Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nasarawa State Council, has felicitated with the newly elected leadership of the union led by the National President, Comrade Yahya Alhassan on their “well-deserved victory at the polls”.

In a press release signed by the council’s secretary, Sunday John, said the council recognised the confidence and trust reposed in the new administration, assuring of the council’s unalloyed support to work in advancing the interests of journalists in the country.

“As a council, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of journalism and promoting a conducive environment for journalists to thrive. We believe that the new leadership shares this vision and is equipped to tackle the challenges facing the union”.

“We look forward to collaborating with the new president and his team to promote the welfare of journalists, defend press freedom, and uphold the ethics of the profession”.

“Once again, we congratulate the new leadership and assure them of our cooperation and support in their endeavours to move the union forward”.

“We equally congratulate Mr Chris Isiguzo, the outgoing President and his team for serving successfully for two terms and wish them well in their future endeavours”.
