Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has described as senseless the killing of innocent farmers in Kwara, Keana LGA of the state.
Nasarawa Newsline reports that Gov. Sule expressed deep sadness over the deadly attack by the unknown assailants, vowing to bring the perpetrators to book.
According to a statement by Ibrahim Addra, Chief Press Secretary to the Nasarawa Governor, said Sule, during a condolence visit to the community, extended sympathy over the development.
While speaking during a condolence visit to the Osoho of Olosoho in Obi LGA, Dr. Umar Abubakar Apeshi over the demise of his mother, the governor announced that security agencies were already directed to investigate the fatal incident.
“Our commitment to the protection of lives and property of all citizens regardless of their tribe or community is unshakable. We are unrelenting in our collaboration with all stakeholders holders and security agencies towards achieving peaceful coexistence in our state.”
Governor Sule urged the citizens to avail security agents useful information that would lead to the arrest of the attackers.
