A media advocacy group known as Media Vanguard for DFS has praised Dr. Faisal Shuaib’s philanthropic gesture to the people of Nasarawa State amid the economic reforms the nation grapples with.
Dr. Shuaib, a former Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency and Founder of DFS Foundation, a humanitarian organization, has been renowned for his philanthropy to the needy and vulnerable in various areas of needs.
In an open letter sent to Nasarawa Newsline by Muhammad Lawal Musa of the advocacy group described him as “a beacon of leadership and philanthropy to the youth, women and people of Nasarawa State and beyond”.
“We wish to categorically state that you have risen the standard of philanthropy in our dear state beyond the linings and leanings of social status”.
“For youths like us, it is imperative to note that the unforgettable and uncommon distribution of rams, cows, food items and money to the less privileged in the state will remain memorable with inestimable happiness on the minds of the people across divides”.
The group added that the gesture was the first-of-its-kind in the state’s history, hailing him as “you are a true pacesetter”
“We wish to commend your towering positive impact and generosity in all areas of human endeavors. We urge you to keep the spirit high as this threatens the fate of a handful of people but strengthens the confidence and commitment of Nasarawa people in you to making Nasarawa greater, better and stronger in all areas for our indivisible prosperity”.
The gesture of the DFS Foundation recently, which included distribution of rams, cows and food items to underprivileged people in the state had sparked public excitement with many lauding his sense of generosity amidst the nation’s economic experience.
